I can't get enough of "Trendy Trees". It's such a simple stamp set, so easy to use. I wanted to play with the In Colors, and I wanted to play with my "Sunny Garden" DSP, so I went back to my go-to layout. And, I was right, the trees look wonderful in the In Colors. :o)This card uses:Stamp Set: "Trendy Trees"Paper: Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizazz, "Sunny Garden" DSPInk: Early Espresso, Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride, Pear PizazzAnd really, there's not much more to say. ;o)--Rach
I'm ROASTING!!! It's HOT!! It's not usually this hot in Blacksburg. I was hoping for cooler temps than those in Williamsburg, but it's not happening. :sigh:Since I'm still in the 'burg, I'm still not in my own studio. I would love to steal some time to play in Lissie's, but with five kiddos five and under running around (or crawling or rolling), it just hasn't been possible. Instead, I took another tour through my archives and located this beauty that has me longing for cooler autumn temps and crisp, colorful leaves. This card uses:Stamp Set: "Trendy Trees" I swear, this is such a versatile little set!Inks: Dusty Durango, Sage Shadow, More Mustard, Chocolate ChipPaper: Dusty Durango, More Mustard and Whisper White card stock, and some DSP I can't remember--Fall Leaves or some such maybe? Accessories: Dusty Durango dotted grosgrain, piercing kit, deminsionalsAutumn can't be too far off, right?? --Rach
When I first saw the 2009-2010 Idea Book and Catalog, I fell IN LOVE with the "Cottage Wall" DSP. What gorgeous paper. What rich colors. Oh, be still my heart. :happy sigh: I am embarrassed to admit this, but I purchased five packs and am now hoarding it. :oPBut, isn't the point of beautiful paper to use it? How am I to enjoy it if it is just tucked away in a cubby, never seeing the light of day?? Hm. This deserves some thought...;o)This card uses not only my favorite DSP, but also one of the most versatile sets I own, "Trendy Trees". This is another go-to set for me. They are a clean, simple set. (Please ignore that wonky tree on the right, there. Oops!)This card uses (all SU! unless otherwise noted):Stamp set: "Trendy Trees"Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Orchid Opulence (retired), Whisper WhiteInk: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Orchid Opulence, Chocolate ChipAccessories: 5/8" Old Olive grosgrain, Eyelet Border punch, Stamp-A-Ma-JigAhhh, if only I had used the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig with the tree trunks...I'm hoping to get into the studio some time tomorrow--I have bunches of new goodies to play with...:o) --Rach
