Tea Shoppe
I made a commitment this week to make a few cards using supplies I've bought but never found a way to use. Long ago I bought the lattice die but never could come up with an idea as to how to make it work on a card. Then, I noticed the Tea Shoppe stamp set on my shelf--which I have utilized once or twice in the past--and decided to see if I could make the two work together. I found an old sheet of DSP from 2007. It's so old that I do not know the name but it features 2007 SU In Colors, Groovy Guava and Soft Sky. I decided to cut the sentiment to look like a tea bag with a string (butchers' twine) and used Soft Sky ink. The tea cup is stamped in Chocolate Chip. I had to fussy cut it (as Rachael says) because there's no die for that big tea cup. At the bottom I added Very Vanilla lace and a few Very Vanilla roses. The base of the card is Whisper White. All the supplies are from Stampin' Up.

Tea Shoppe for PP89
I had no time to get into the offudio to stamp last week as we were busy traveling. While I'm still traveling this week, at least I'm at Lissie's where she and I can play together. :o)
The two of us so enjoy stamping together and I'm grateful she loves stamping and card making as much as I. :o)
This week's challenge at The Paper Players is a theme challenge--"Tickle Your Funny Bone". The idea was to create a silly or punny card and when I saw this little stamp set, I knew it was perfect. I seem to have a thing for tea cups of late...
I am absolutely in love with the "Domestic Goddess" DSP and thought the kitchen-y theme would work beautifully with the stamps I selected. Oh how I love Calypso Coral paired with Pool Party. :o)
I don't really have a recipient in mind as of yet, but I have quite a few people in my life who certainly "Suit me to a tea". I'm thinking it's time to send one off. :o)
This card uses:
*Stamp Set: Tea Shoppe
*Paper: Domestic Goddess DSP, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Whisper White
*Ink: Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight
*Accessories: Calypso Coral ribbon
